Covid Protective Masks Arrive at Kupang
Although Indonesia had initially been fortunate to have a relatively low number of cases of COVID-19, the infection rate continues to rise. As a result, areas with many small villages, such as East Nusa Tenggara in West Timor, have serious shortages of protective masks.
The Traditional Leader Don Leopold Nisnoni, Raja of Kupang, has been working with village leaders to supply and distribute masks to the many rural towns and villages where such supplies aren't readily available. As a result, for just 16,000 Rp (USD 1.13), he can provide a high-quality reusable cotton mask to help stem the rate of COVID-19 infection in West Timor.
The Saint Lazarus Relief Fund is a registered 501c3 Nonprofit and is soliciting donations to provide protective masks to the people of Kupang.
HRH Don Leopold Nisnoni, Raja of Kupang, has been personally involved in procuring and distributing protective masks in many villages and towns of East Nusa Tenggara.
